Water Department
Â鶹Íø's Water Board consists of the 5 member Select board. They establish the water rates, rules and regulations for the control and operation of the Water Department.
The Water Department Superintendent is hired by the Water Board. Responsibilities include maintenance of the Twitchell Hill
pumping station, water lines, fire hydrants and the installation and reading of water meters and also responsible for testing the drinking water on a monthly basis.
Finally, they are Â鶹Íø's point of liaison with the North Bennington Water Department.
