On March 1, 2022, the voters of Â鶹Íø voted to remove the position of Listers and hire a qualified professional Assessor. Â鶹Íø contracted the New England Municipal Resource Center (NEMRC) to be the company we use for our Assessor duty.
We also have an Assessor’s Clerk in the office, Monday through Thursday, 9am until 12pm, to help with everyday duties and to assist the residents of Â鶹Íø as well as the researchers and realtors.
The Assessor has the same powers, discharges the same duties, proceeds in the discharging, thereof, in the same manner, and is subject to the same liabilities as are prescribed for Listers or the Board of Listers under provisions of Title 32.
