Welcome to the Â鶹Íø Planning Commission Home Page. The Planning Commission is comprised of five of your neighbors who volunteer to serve and are appointed by the Selectboard.
The purpose of a planning commission is to develop and propose to the voters zoning bylaws for the town with the goal of promoting the orderly development of the community.
Our work focuses on preparing and presenting proposed bylaws, writing a first draft of each new Town Plan, working with other agencies to make recommendations on land use,
economic and social development, historic preservation, and protection of natural resources of our town.
We are currently working on bylaw revisions to promote the availability of housing. Please join us in person or on Zoom at one of our meetings.
