TRAFFIC IMPACT AND DURATION: From Monday, July 13, through Friday, July 17, between 7 a.m. and 5 p.m., flaggers will direct alternating one-way traffic on the Vermont Route 67A (VT 67A), Silk Road, Matteson Road, and College Drive approaches to the VT 67A roundabout. Traffic will be maintained on the roundabout. Motorists should expect delays during final paving operations and allow extra travel time through the work zone.
Notice for truck traffic: the Silk Road covered bridge near VT 67A has a 10'6" height limit. Drivers are advised to slow down, use caution, and pay attention to flaggers and signage.
CONSTRUCTION ACTIVITIES: Final paving at the VT 67A roundabout, including the VT 67A, Silk Road, Matteson Road, and College Drive approaches, was postponed and is now scheduled for next week, weather permitting. This work will include paving tie-ins at the shared-use path. Streetlight work is also expected to occur for one day next week.
