Nathan Salisbury, father of Daniel Salisbury, appears on the Pay Roll of Capt. Samuel Robinson's Company of Militia under the command of Lt. Col. Ebanz Walbridge, for twenty days service commencing on 16h June 1778 ending 10th July 1778. Nathan “Salsby” was paid 2.1.8 for 25 days of service.

Nathan Salisbury appears on a Pay Roll of Capt.Samuel Robinson's Company in Col. Samuel Herrick's Regiment of Militia that Went to Rutland on Otter Creek in the service of the United States of America to guard the frontiers under the command of Lt. Col. Ebenezer Walbridge, June 15, 1778. He was in service 25 days and traveled 110 miles.
