James Clark is on a Pay Roll of Capt. Josiah Boyden's Company in Col. William William's Regiment of Militia in the service of the United States on an expedition to Bennington, & c, in 1777. He entered the service on Sept. 24 and was discharged Oct. 20, 1777. He was in service 26 days.
